The team of 12 Technical rescue specialist are one of four watches who provide specialist rescue technicians who skill sets ranging from Ropes Rescue, USAR and Swift water Rescue that can be deployed around the UK 24 Hours a day. The team based at Bickhill in West Midland were first deployed from their home station in the early evening of Boxing D

The team of 12 Technical rescue specialist are one of four watches who provide specialist rescue technicians who skill sets ranging from Ropes Rescue, USAR and Swift water Rescue that can be deployed around the UK 24 Hours a day. The team based at Bickhill in West Midland were first deployed from their home station in the early evening of Boxing Day. Before reaching the City of York that was under 5 meters of flood water the team spent an evening in the City of Leeds assisting and supporting other emergency service partners helping to rescue members of the local community . The Rescue shows 14 People from block flats on Skeldergate in York who had been trapped in there properties since Boxing Day. ©UKNIP
