Gaza, Palestine, 8 April 2020. A Palestinian young woman, Alaa al- Masry, grows oyster mushrooms in her small farm in a room of her home and in her garden, in the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. The sale of her organically grown oyster mushrooms has helped Alaa to make a living amid the deteriorating economic situation in the Gaza Strip and the difficulties in finding a suitable job in her study field after graduating from university. Sales have gone particularly well during the Coronavirus crisis in the Gaza Strip since the oyster mushrooms are believe to strengthen immunity
