Dole is a small village in the Khumbu region of Nepal which lies in the Dudh Kosi River valley just north of Khumjung and south of Machhermo at an altitude of 4038m. It is often a stopping point for trekkers on their way to Gokyo Lakes or Mount Everest and has a number of guesthouses. Kangtega (6,782 m) and Thamserku (6,608m) are major mountain peaks of the Himalayas in Nepal.
