Gladioli in all colors and kinds are available. The quality is good, but because of the poor demand they are bringing only $4 to $6 per hundred. As- ters are also numerous, selling at $ to $4 per hundred. The colored asters are more plentiful, while the white at present are a little scarce. Eoses are also scarce. Carnations are entirely gone. As usual, miscellaneous garden stock is abundant and has little demand. In this latter class are phlox, zinnias, daisies and a little statice. Counter trade has been poor. Funeral work has been about the only business. Decorations have been few, while cor- sage and other similar work has been meager. Various Notes. Miss Ethel Gray, formerly with the Florists' Supply House, is now working in the store of B. G. Hitz & Co., at 3210 Boose
