CONOLICHAS CORNUTUS W. Sp. The specimen to be described was entire when found, but before coming intomy hands, suffered from unskillful manipulation to such an extent as to obscure thelobation of the glabella and the segmentation of one side of the thorax. Notwith-standing, the condition of its preservation is much better than can usually be hopedfor, in this group of fragile trilobites, for a Lichas with its parts in normal juxtaposi-tion is a rare occurrence. Cephalon transverse; narrowed and attenuate toward the lateral extremities;.
