Three Stadiums: City park style and Two High
Texas is a big football sate. The movie and book. Friday Night Lights, is evidence of that, but the benchmark is the size and scope of the football stadiums for high schools. Allen just built a new stadium for $60M and there are others planned. These images are two suburban cities that have large stadium that really are not so large. The park is a city park in Garland that has a press box at home stand and visitor bleachers all for a Pee Wee League. Some colleges wish they had stadiums like this while these wish they were as big as some colleges. Jerry Jones',owner of the Dallas Cowboys, grandson plays for Highland Park High School. But now, the state play offs were played in AT&T stadium, Jerry Jone's massive stadium in Arlington, the pinnacle of all football stadiums. In short, football is as big in Texas as Texas is big on football.
