Winner of the race Jan Faltejsek (L) runs ahead, jockey Jiri Kousek (2nd L) follows him. The Velka Pardubicka Steeplechase is known as the toughest steeplechase in continental Europe. It runs in the Eastern Bohemian town of Pardubice in the Czech Republic. The town is famous for its horse races. The first race ran here in 1874.
