Utah, USA - June 2008; Bryce Canyon National Park is located in southwestern Utah in the United States. Its outstanding feature and visual spectacle is Bryce Canyon, a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau, filled with eerie red or orange natural rock columns called hoodoos, formed by frost weathering and stream erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rocks. But here we see a more intimate view, in close up, of tree bark on one of its many conifers.
