One of the half-tone illustrations shows passenger carNo. 30, which represents one of five old 44-foot 5-inch passen-ger cars that are now too small for the traffic and are beingconverted into 53-foot cars to match the other limited carsof the road. The sills of these cars are being reinforced withfour five-inch I-beams, new posts are being made and the struction work No. 93-A and No. 112 motors have been sub-stituted for the 3S-B type.
