"glLSSS^ ftt. has been sold up closely, chiefly for use in funeral work. Lilies are coming along nicely for Easter and will prob- ably be in sufficient supply to go the rounds. Cut lilies have beei; scarce for the last week or two, as nearly everyone has been holding them back for Easter. Valley has been equal to the demand. Sweet peas are more plen- tiful and are finding a ready sale; some of them are from new crops and have extra long stems. Violets are good, es- pecially the singles. Greens are at a premium, especially plumosus. Potted plants are moving nicely and there is a prospect of a big stock of them for Easter. Various Notes. Fred Baumann has given up his store on West Broad street and will turn his whole attention to his fern business. Mr. Clark, who was formerly with Graff Bros, and who has charge of the cut flower department in the Green- Joyce store, reports business good in his line at the store. C. A. Both is hoping to be able to remain in the store till after Easter, though he has been notified to be out, with the other tenants of the Deshler building, by April 1, as the building is to give way to the new 12-story D
