Their magnificentpalace on the Nevsky had to be sold, and becamethe residence of the late Grand Duke Serge and ofhis widow the Grand Duchess Elisabeth Feodorovna,when she comes to Petrograd. Since the sale of their town mansion PrinceConstantine Belosselsky and his wife, nee Skobeleff,have retired to the islands. One of these, Krestov-sky by name, belongs to them entirely, and theypossess a beautiful manor house there, which usedto be only their summer dwelling but has now be-come their permanent residence.
