A Caucasian miquelet-lock pistol,circa 1860. Slender two-stage Damascus barrel,octagonal then round with smooth bore in 12 mm calibre. Over the breech gold-inlaid decorations with pseudo inscription. Iron lock with maker's mark. The stock covered with black shagreen leather,the mounting and barrel bands made from gilt nielloed silver. The back of the grip with a broad silver band with filigree decorations and applied turquoises. Pommel made of walrus ivory.
