Demolition work continues on one of Glasgow's busiest shopping streets, Sauchiehall Street, after a massive blaze destroyed numbers 92-96 and 98-106 on 22 March. Victoria's Nightclub was lost to fire, as were several shops. Meanwhile, the Pavilion, a popular and historic variety theatre located next to the scene, will remain closed for the duration of the work – around two months – due to the danger of the nearby buildings collapsing.
