Thyroxin is marketed in two forms—Tabletscontaining the partially purified sodium salt ofThyroxin for oral administration; and the PureCrystalline Thyroxin for intravenous injectionin those cases in which the Thyroxin is notabsorbed quantitatively when given by mouth.
