Wooden Torii Gate at Meiji Shrine's Side Entrance

Meiji Shrine (明治神宮), located in Shibuya, Tokyo, is the Shinto shrine that is dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shōken. Many religious rites and wedding ceremonies can be observed there. The photo shows a wooden torii gate at the side entrance to the shrine. It is most commonly found at the entrance of or within a shinto shrine, where it symbolically marks the transition from the profane to the sacred.
