Proboscis fully developed ; palpi upturned, the 2nd joint reaching to vertex of head and slenderly scaled, the 3rd very long; frons smooth; eyes large, round; antennjB of male almost simple; thorax clothed almost entirely with scales and without crests, the tegulaa forming a raised hood; tibije slightly fringed with hair ; abdomen with dorsal crest at base only, long, especially in Fore wing narrow and elongate, the apex rounded, the termen evenly curved and not crenulate, the iimer margin with lobe and slight scale-tooth before middle; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; 6 from below upper angle ; 7 from angle ; 8, 9,10 stalked ; 11 from cell.
