Ecological researcher Helena Paul speaks at The March Against Monsanto protest outside the US Embassy, part of the international grassroots movement and protest supported by Bee Against Monsanto. Speakers addressed various issues around the use of genetically modified organism (GMOs), Roundup, a glyphosate-based herbicide, dangerous bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides, and the need for improved protection victims of multinational corporations, the danger of trade deals such as TTIP which override national laws to protect our health and safety and endanger the integrity of our food supplies, dangers of pesticides and the corruption related to them and of the alliance between governments, corporations, academic institutions and "a supine press" which enable dangerous products by Monsanto and other corporations to be widely sold.
