PHILIPPINE SEA (July 4, 2022) - An Aerosonde unmanned aerial vehicle launches from a turntable launch and recovery system on the flight deck of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Higgins (DDG 76) while conducting operations in the 7th Fleet area of operations, July 4, 2022. Higgins is assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
