Jle was the first native pastor ordained by the Classis ; amember of it from its organization more than thirty yearsago. His reports to it year by year show that he has receivedand baptized hundreds of converts and their children. Hehas broken the bread of life to tens of thousands in all partsof our district. He walked before men holily and consistently*in the footsteps of Christ, and the example he has left to hisfellow workers and the whole Church is a lasting preached the whole counsel of God, and lived as hepreached.
