Tom Houghton, for some time as-sociated with Lewis Bros., Limited,Montreal, as assistant sales manager,has resigned to accept a position withhis old firm, the Martin-Senour Com-pany as sales manager. Mr. Houghton is well known to thehardware and paint trade throughoutCanada, particularly in Ontario andQuebec, having been on the road, andalso having been connected with the re-. TOM Houghton Who has been appointed sales manager of the Martin Senour Company, Montreal tail and wholesale hardware trade forseveral years in Ontario and the firms with whom he was as-sociated were the Hobbs Hardware London; Mcintosh, Huntington Co.,Cleveland, Ohio; Lewis Bros., Ltd. Formany years Mr. Houghton was in theretail hardware business on his ownaccount. Then, in 1915, he entered theservice of the Martin-Senour Co., firston the road and later as sales promo-tion manager. At the annual family dinner of thecompany held in Montreal last week,Tom, as the boys kniw him, was en-thusiastically welcomed back to the100 Per Cent. Pure family. , the general manager of the com-pany, said to HARDWARE ANDMETAL that Mr. Houghton rejoined thecompany at a most appropriate time,the assembled salesmen affording himan opp )rtunity for stating sales plansthat would work out to the interest ofsalesmen and dealer agents
