Air crew members from the 1st Battalion, 137th Aviation Regiment, 185th Theater Aviation Brigade participated in overwater personnel recovery training at Ali Al Salem Airbase, Aug. 11, 2015. The training was conducted to prepare crew members in the event an aircraft goes down in the Northern Arabian Gulf during an overwater mission. Currently, the 185th Theater Aviation Brigade provides a wide range of Army Aviation support to Navy Central in support of training and operations in the Northern Arabian Gulf.
