ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sep. 17, 2018) Rear Adm. John B. Skillman, commander, Expeditionary Strike Group 2 speaks to officers in the wardroom of amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24). Naval Forces Northern Command deployed Arlington, along with embarked elements of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit and the Expeditionary Strike Group 2 command element, to be positioned to provide Defense Support to Civil Authorities from the sea in response to Hurricane Florence, should support be requested.
