germinating papaya seed in water & potting on

Having germinated the seed in water, use tweezers to carefully remove the germinated seed and transfer to a pot of compost. Cover lightly and then in about a week young seedlings will appear. Grow on until a pair of true leaves appear (as opposed to the seedling leaves in images). Transplant singly to 3" pots and grow on, always keeping them moist.
