Various Notes. Wm. Zimmermann's delivery auto- mobile got in a bad mix-up last Friday and from reports drew the short end of the deal. This firm reports business as keeping up well ever since Valen- tine's day. Currie Bros. was kept l>usy all day Sunday with funeral work. It was a surprise that one funeral which was to have taken place Monday was, owing to the inclemency of the weather, ])ostponed until Tuesday At J. M. Fox & Son's store a gen eral run of business has kept them busy for the last fortnight. Milwaukee was visited by the worst blizzard of the season February and 26. By Monday night there were so many snowdrifts that traflic was next ro impossible; city cars were out of commission and the steam roads did not fare much better. •' We had more trouble during that snow storm to get the express companies to call for and ileliver goods than we have all win- ter," was the report that came from the 0.
