MISAWA, Japan (Aug. 2, 2017) Naval Air Crewman (Operator) 2nd Class Makala Herrera, a native of Montgomery, Mich., and Naval Air Crewman (Operator) 2nd class Rebecca Fortney, a native of Manley, Neb., assigned to the "Pelicans" of Patrol Squadron (VP) 45 conduct a tour of a P-8 Poseidon during an English speaking tour on Misawa Air Base. An annual tour conducted by Sailors and Airmen, the tour emphasizes English communication skills and focuses on challenging 7th through 9th graders in their language abilities throughout the day long event.
