Mad. Jules Grolez is an exceedingly free-bloom- ing variety, with verv'- large, finely formed flowers. The color (s a distinct and charming shade of cherrs'- red. The fine form and attractive shape of the flow- ers makes them excellent for cutting. Like Kaiserin Augusta Victoria, Mad. Jules Grolez is a Rose of great value for open-ground culture. It is a remark- able strorig-gro-«-ing variety, as hardy as the Hybrid Perpetuals. free-blooming and in every way excel- lent. 20 cts. each, 50 cts. for 3; larger size 25 cts. each, $1 for 5; two-year-old plants, 40 cts. each. CARDINAL. A new red Rose, which can be recom- mended as better for forcing than Liberty, and, in the open ground, equal to Liberty or Meteor. It is a strong, robust grower, with large and massive flowers, deliciously fragrant, full and double to the center. This Rose is of easy culture and extremely free-flowering. 20 cts. each, 50 cts. for 3; larger plants, 25 cts. each, 81 for 5; postpaid; two-year-old plants, 40 cts. each. LNTENSITY. A handsome scarlet of the deepest possible shade, approacliing crimson-maroon in the older flowers. Free in growth and free-bloom- ing.
