A breastplate of a Gothic armour, Milan, circa 1480/90 Two-piece, placard breastplate with angular flanges struck outwards. The upper part with threefold fluting on both sides, the waist plate with distinct central ridge and fourfold fluting on both sides. On the base of the nape a double-struck armourer's mark with "s"(?) and "h" in Gothic minuscules underneath a cross. The shoulders with original rivets for attachment straps with silver rosettes decorated in relief.
