At this celebration there was assembled a notablegathering. Among others of his pupils who were present wereHon. Abbott Lawrence, formerly Ambassador to England, Kendall, formerly Postmaster-General, Hon. Joel Parker,, Rev. Andrew Bigelow, D. D., Rev. James Walker, D. D.,President of Harvard College, and Hon.
