XXVII, p. 269. To those who may bedisposed to construct apparatus for the same purpose, a state-ment of its dimensions will not be unacceptable. Such, how-ever, as would possess it without the trouble of fitting it upthemselves, may procure it of Mr. Bancks, 441, Strand. The bellows are made of three small pieces of mahogany, Eeliowi,each six inches long, three wide, and three tenths of an inch inthickness. They are connected by folds of thin leather, gluedround their edges. The requisite pressure on the bellows isgiven by a spring of brass wire. A kind of fusee was added,
