Western Whip Snake predating Bee-eater colony

This Western Whip Snake was visiting a Bee-eater colony with the intention of predating the nestlings. It was however driven away by the angry parent birds. Possibly it was also using an unused Bee-eater burrow as a resting cavity in the hottest hours of the day as it often attempted to enter an unused hole.
