COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (March 28, 2017) Senior Chief Boatswain’s Mate Brian Kerfien discusses well deck operations with officers from the Sri Lankan Navy during a tour of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45). Comstock and the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit are in Sri Lanka to exchange expertise on a range of topics, as part of ongoing exchanges between the two forces to enhance skill sets and strengthen relations.
