ATLANTIC OCEAN (Mar. 31, 2017) Chief Gas Turbine System Technician (Electrical) Timothy Dayao, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG 87), runs diagnostics on equipment in the pilot house with Gas Turbine System Technician (Electrical) 3rd Class Chase Hawley and Gas Turbine System Technician (Electrical) Fireman Justin Nwanjoku. Mason, part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is underway participating in a sustainment exercise in support of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP).
