Ukraine, a young country in its fifties, displays a national pride visible to all. The blue and yellow, color of the Ukrainian flag are present everywhere. Kiosks, buses, clothes and banks are all a representation of these national colors. They were adopted in 1918 during the first Ukrainian independence. They are the illustration of the natural elements of Ukraine, the blue symbolizing the sky and the yellow representing the many fields of Blue, one of the main sources of prosperity of the country. We can wonder what will become of these colors when a new flag, that of the People's Republic of Donestk, already decorates part of the administrative buildings. The new republic would be ready to erase these signs and establish a new order. The task seems difficult while all around us life is seen through these colors. The economy, already in bad shape, suffers from a real supply problem.
