Vintage portrait engraving print of William Pitt The Younger (1759 - 1806) - British Prime Minister 1783 - 1801 & 1804 - 1806. He is known as Pitt "The Younger" to distinguish him from his father of the same name. Pitt was the youngest ever PM, first taking office at the age of 24 years and 205 days, and one of the longest in the role. Engraving circa 1830s by Peter Lightfoot (1805 - 1885), based on a painting by artist John Hoppner (1758 - 1810).
