Natamycin. Molecular model of the chemical natamycin (), also known as pimaricin. This is a naturally occurring anti-fungal agent produced by the bacterium Streptomyces natalensis. It is used in the food industry to prevent fungal outgrowth, and as a drug to treat fungal infections. Atoms are represented as spheres and are colour-coded: carbon (grey), hydrogen (white), nitrogen (blue) and oxygen (red).
