BRITONS LEARN TURKISH: ADULT EDUCATION IN LONDON, 1943 - British associate members of the Londra Turk Halkevi read copies of the Turkish magazine 'Cephe' to help their study of the language. Behind them on the wall is an old Imperial Decree written in ancient Arabic script. It was presented to the Halkevi by Sultan Mahmut
