OLD LONDON -A vintage photo showing an English Bobby (Policeman) on traffic duty outside of the Guildhall which has been used as a town hall for hundreds of years, and is the ceremonial and administrative centre of the City of London. Both the building and its Great Hall carry the name GUILDHALL. The remains of a Roman amphitheatre were discovered here in 1988.
