All the brasses of this, as well asof the others, had long ago vanished; but an inscription IfntJ anftcJi QaUowsnttigf, preserved some slight record down to our time. The altar atwhich he stood had been desecrated, removed, and destroyed;but the piscina still remains in the south wall of the chancel, asit did in the old catholic times.
