The Wheeling convention adjourned on the 15th, af-ter having called for the election of members to another Thedeiayof convention, the election to be held on thecro8s?ngnthe 26th, and the convention to assemble on the0hia 11th of June. The vote of the people on the secession ordinance passed by the Richmond con-vention was to be taken, as we have seen, on the 23d ofMay. General McClellan desired to have these two.
