Finlayson's Squirrel, also known as the Variable Squirrel, is found in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. It belongs to the genus Callosciurus and the species in this genus are collectively referred to as "beautiful squirrels". There are 15 species and about 60 sub-species in the genus. This particular squirrel was photographed in a private garden on the outskirts of Bangkok.
