Leaves' ovate, deltoid or deltoid-lanceolate, mostly acute, rarely acuminate at the apex; basal lobes 1 the length of the blades or nearly .so; bracts obtuse, sometimes broadly rounded; flowers h'-i' wide; filaments very slender, glabrous; achene i4"-2'' long, winged on both margins, its sides promi- nently winged, the beak about i its length.
