MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Marines with the Logistics Combat Element of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit wait to load a landing craft air cushion to return to USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) after a week of operations ashore during Certification Exercise, June 12, 2017. The versatility of the Navy-Marine Corps team makes them capable to conduct any mission in any place required. CERTEX is the last in a series of training exercises, which certifies the MEU capable for deployment in support of fleet and combatant commanders across the full range of military operations.
