Decemberists House Irkutsk Russia
A plot by secret society to rise against Czar Nicholas the 1st in December 1825 was foiled. The members of that group were knows as the Decemberists. Five were executed and others were exiled to Irkursk in Siberia. This is where some of them were accommodated.
