CH - VALAIS: Matterhorn with Riffelsee


The Matterhorn (4,478 m or 14,692 ft.) is one of the highest peaks in the Alps. The first group of climbers to scale the peak was led by the British alpinist Edward Whymper in July 1865. Three men died during the descent.
