Arthur Thistlewood (1770-1820), British conspirator. Thistlewood was one of the Cato Street conspirators, a group that plotted to assassinate the British Prime Minister Lord Liverpool, and his cabinet, in February 1820. The group is named after the street in London where they met. Thistlewood was arrested, convicted of treason and executed on 1 May 1820.
