The biting mouthparts: a horny upper lip, a pair of stout toothed mandibles, thinner maxillae and labium with palpi of both much reduced in size. 5. The minute spinneret near the middle of the tip of the labium. 6. The jointed legs on each segment of the thorax. Find in them the usual leg parts. Use slide mounts for this.
