Broad Street, Birmingham, 1st January 2024 - Revellers welcomed 2024 with a headache in Birmingham as partygoers were spotted slumped on the floor, karted off by paramedics and arrested after several fights. Rain also hit the region with many using coats to cover their hair. West Midlands Police officers had to warn off passers-by after a man was arrested on suspicion of assault and a crowd gathered.
