Laggangarn, Dumfries & Galloway, UK: prehistoric standing stones christianised by C8th expanded-armed Latin crosses with simple crosses in the angles.
Laggangarn, Dumfries & Galloway: a pair of prehistoric standing stones carved with early Christian (C7th-C9th) expanded-armed Latin crosses with simple crosses in each of the angles. On the Southern Upland Way near the head of Tarf Water, New Luce. The stones may date from the Bronze Age, and are said to be the remains of a circle or setting of 13 or 14 stones. In Christian times they served as marker stones on one of the pilgrim routes to Whithorn.
