171111-N-EJ549-0010 Liège, Belgium (Nov, 11 2017)The Late Mr. Frederick W. Castle, a Army Air Forces Brig. Gen. during World War II, is interred at Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Belgium. Castle was the highest ranking American Airman killed in action during World War II. On Nov. 11, 2017 a group of service members from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, honored Castle and thousands more fallen Americans during Armistice Day and Veteran’s Day.
