A real Mcintosh in quality and ap- pearance, only more flat in shape, ripening a week before Mcintosh. Drops badly be- fore coloring as it should in southern sec- tions. Tree vigorous and productive. AUTUMN VARIETIES WEALTHY. This beautiful, moderate sized, brilliant red apple is of fine quality, one of the best of its sea- son. It is a relatively good keeper, and owing to the hardiness of the tree, its adaptability to cold climates and early bearing habits, it can be profitably plant- ed as a filler. Season August 15th to 25th. SUMMER RAMBO. Laarge, flat, streaked red and yel- low; very tender, juicy and fine flavored., Tree an up- right grower, hardy and productive. Ripens August 20th to 25th.
